Obituary of Steven Brian Dickerson

Steven “Steve” Brian Dickerson of Indianapolis, age 66, passed away on April 8, 2023 while vacationing in South Carolina. 

Steve was an avid bowler, golfer, and PC gamer.  He enjoyed playing cards and games with family and friends including Hand & Foot, Euchre and Tonk, along with Dungeons & Dragons.  He delighted in making up games to play with his grandchildren. 

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilbur Dickerson and Clara Marie Franklin, along with two sisters and two brothers.  He and his wife of 44 years, Nancy (Orme) Dickerson, have two sons, Alex Dickerson (Brandy), Evan Dickerson (Erin) and four grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 30, 2023 from 2-4 pm in the Bentley Commons community at the corner of Mathews Rd and Bentley Commons Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46259.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local homeless shelter.
