Obituary of Marian C. Fielder

Marian C. Fielder, known as Claire to those in her life, passed away at home on March 31, 2023. She was 68 years old. Claire was born on August 15, 1954 to Clyde and Barbara Perkins. She was a resident of Yuba City and Marysville, California most of her life until she moved to Gaston, South Carolina where she retired.

Claire was an avid reader since childhood, movie buff (horror being her favorite) and collector of stamps and teapots. In her spare time, she could be found learning the harmonica, designing jewelry and crystal sun catchers as gifts, and enjoying games on her computer. She was quick with a joke and danced to the beat of her own tune, making the ground beneath her feet a dance floor.

Preceded in death were her parents, her husband, Donald Morales, her sister, Claudia “Jo” Brown and her brother Robert Perkins. Claire is survived by her daughter, Emily Morales of Torrance CA, brother, John Perkins (Carmella) of Yuba City CA, sisters, Mary Heffington of Folsom, CA, Gail Kunsman (Mike) of Yuba City, CA, Patty Haggard of Salinas, CA, sister, Ruth Juarez of Gaston SC, and several nieces and nephew.

A private service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu or flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the American Heart Association or charity of your choice.
