Obituary of Loretta Mary Belusko

Loretta Mary Belusko (Tolerico), 75, of Lexington, SC, passed away on 2/26/23 after a long battle with cancer.

Loretta was born on 10/30/1947 to John and Mary Tolerico in Hazleton, PA.  She was one of four children. Loretta graduated from Hazleton Senior High School in 1965.   Afterwards, she started her cosmetology business, Loretta's Beauty Salon.

In 1968, she married Edward James Belusko. Loretta and Edward went on to have three children, Eric (Christine Eubanks), Alisha (Kel) Jansen and Amy (Mark) Awtry.

Loretta enjoyed working as a cosmetologist, raising her children and volunteering with their schools. She was the most generous woman, always giving freely of her time and love.  Loretta placed family and friends above herself.  After her husband died and her three children all married, Loretta devoted herself to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Loretta was predeceased by her parents, her brother Jack and spouse Edward Belusko.  She is survived by Eric, Alisha and Amy and her grandchildren Bella, Ansley, Jackson, Sierra and Brennan.  She is also survived by her siblings Mary (Frank) Konschnik and Thomas Tolerico.

A dedication service and celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date at St Peter's Episcopal Church in Greenville, SC.

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or Interim Healthcare Hospice.
