Obituary of Harold Henry Doby, III

Henry Harold Doby, III passed away on January 27, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends.  

He was born August 18, 1978, in Lexington, SC to Henry Doby, Jr. and Gloria Doby. His love for music and his songwriting is what he loved and enjoyed doing in his spare time along with river walks and the beach with Chloe and friends.  Henry was loved by many and impacted so many lives just in meeting him. He loved his Gamecocks and spent many Saturdays in front of the game, yelling and cheering. He joined the Navy in 2000 and served 6 years. He returned from service and worked side by side with his Dad and became a master plumber.

Henry is survived by his parents, Henry and Gloria Doby, his loving sisters, Vanessa and Brandy Doby. grandmother,  Lois June Snow. uncles, Don (Buddy), Veron, Clint and Larry, his aunts, Cindy and Missy, his niece, Bailey and nephews, Gabe and  Dylan. Henry is also survived by his fiance, Ashely N. Dryden, as well as many other family and friends.

He is joined in death with his beloved little girl, Chloe Eve Doby, as well as his grandfathers, Henry H Doby, Sr. and Ralph Davis and grandmother, Lynda Miller. He also joins many other friends and loved ones in his passing. He will be missed and may he live in our hearts till we meet again, later punk!!

Celebration of life for Henry will be held February 11, 2023 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at his family home at 488 Frye Branch Road, Lexington SC.
