Obituary of Clinton Ray Johnson

Clinton Ray “CR” Johnson, 81, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2022.

CR was born in Lafayette, Indiana, in 1940. He served in the U. S. Air Force as an airman first class in Brindisi, Italy and Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois. He worked at TWA, Amtrak, Honda, and Toyota in Bakersfield, California.

He was married to his beloved wife, Jeanette Johnson, for 12 years. CR was active in church planting, children’s ministry, men’s groups, and food delivery to the needy. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Johnson, and his children, Miette Boyer, Jada Frahm, Lieb Johnson, Tara Johnson, Patrick Thompson, Collin Johnson, Chelsea Littlefield, and Karena Johnson. He is preceded in death by his son, Taylor Johnson.

CR loved road trips, Yosemite, jokes, Sugar Twist bakery, a good burger, laughing with children, generosity, and truly loved the Lord and wanted to bless Him by blessing others on His behalf.
