Obituary of Cynthia Fernandez

Cynthia Fernandez was born to the late Mary Varslone and Manuel Fernandez in Waterbury CT. Cynthia is survived by her four daughters Anastasia McCrary of California, Megan (Marco) McCrary of Massachusetts, Carolynn (Heyward Brown, Jr.) Veal and April (Robert) Melton both of SC. Her grandchildren Jacinda, Gia, Chloe, Cameron, Gracie,Trinity and Tatum. She also considered April’s step kids as her own grandchildren Becca and Ryen. She also leaves behind her sister Rosemary Levesque of Lexington. Cynthia worked for Southeastern Freight Lines in Lexington SC for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and most of all spending time with the grandchildren, especially Cameron (special boy-autistic, they had a very special bond) she’d take him to the movies to see all the superhero movies, favorite place to go after the movies was burger king. Holidays were the best. Thanksgiving was Cynthia's favorite. Cynthia was kind, giving, and always full of wisdom and support, she was the heart and soul of our family and she will be missed terribly by many. She was the very best mother to her children she raised four girls and gave us the knowledge and strength to become successful women. She will forever live in our hearts, thoughts and memories forever. She is preceded in death by her sister Grace.
